OK well Ive been on the phone to Navigon 3 times now and to say that the customer support staff are rude and arrogant would be a massive understatement.
I bought the sat nav from Halfrauds which included the discounted map upgrade and premium traffic service.
To cut a long story short, I need to register my sat nav but my PC wont recognize the sat nav. It shows on the sat nav that its connected ie it charges fine connected to my PC but I cant register it via the Navigon Fresh software. Ive registered an account with navigon but cant seem to register it.
Firstly I got told I had to download windows explorer 8 and the latest version of adobe flash player which I did. It still didnt connect and let me register.
The second guy I spoke to said I hadnt registered the sat nav which I thought I did but in order to register it, I had to have it connected to my PC which he failed to understand, infact he didnt want to listen to anything I had to say and insisted that he send me an email with instructions on how to register the sat nav. That didnt work so I called back and got the same guy, he now said that it must be a faulty cable and that they would send me a new one. The guy was flat out stupid and would not listen to what I had to say, unbelievably bad customer support.
I was told that I had to register the sat nav by today to get the discounted maps as the offer ran out tomorrow.
I found another cable and tried it with a digital photo frame, it connects fine, also the sat nav wouldnt charge if it was faulty but to him it was the obvious fault lol
So could someone please help me register the sat nav as its starting to drive me insane.
